Badminton(^^)

Hello everyone. I'm AKI, a singer-songwriter (^-^).

It's getting warmer, isn't it? It's a little hot (^^).

Today I would like to talk about badminton! Recently, Japanese athletes have been active, and I think it is a sport that is gradually gaining popularity in the world.

Some people may think, "It has nothing to do with music!", But in fact, I was a singer-songwriter AKI, playing badminton in club activities when I was a student (high school, university), and it's a very familiar sport. It is (^^).

So, if you are wondering, "What kind of competition is badminton?" Or "Is it interesting that I just started playing badminton?", I would appreciate it if you could read this blog.

First, I will explain the rules of badminton! To be precise, badminton is a sport in which players compete for points by hitting a ball called a shuttle with a racket, with players on both sides of the court divided into two parts across the net.

To explain it very simply, it is a sport in which the shuttle is returned to the opponent's court so as not to drop it, and the points are competed (^-^).

If the opponent drops the shuttle on his court, puts the shuttle on the net, or the shuttle hit by the opponent goes out of the court (becomes out), he will get points.

Both singles and doubles are 3 game matches with 2 games ahead. The side who gets 21 points first in each rally point gets 1 game.

This is the explanation of the rules.

Then what is your impression as a person who actually went?

If you have never played badminton, you may imagine that you are having a shuttle meeting in your everyday clothes at a park or the like. Certainly there is such a way to enjoy it.

However, if you work on it as a sport in earnest, it is a fairly hard sport!

To be honest, it keeps moving! It's perfect for dieting (laughs). Basically, it is closed at the gymnasium to prevent the wind from entering, so summer is especially tough!

I'm sweaty because I keep moving in a sauna-like environment (> _ <).

As for how difficult it is, the singles court has a vertical length of 13.4 m, a horizontal length of 5.18 m, and an area of about 70 m2.

Therefore, it may be recommended for those who want to start some exercise in earnest or want to strengthen their body.

Actually, when I entered the high school temporarily because I felt relaxed at the beginning, the story was completely different from the stage of the temporary entrance (I started with an impure motive at the beginning).

Although it is difficult, it is still deep and very interesting as a sport.

How interesting it is ... I will talk about it in the next blog .

Today I talked about badminton (^^). I'm sorry about this today. It was singer-songwriter AKI (^-^)
